Hey everyone, I'm thinking about building a small tool and wanted to get some honest feedback from frontend developers before I start building it. The basic idea is an AI tool that generates individual UI components or sections instead of trying to generate an entire website/app. For example, you could type or say: " Create a responsive 3-column pricing section with a dark gradient background, rounded cards, and highlight the middle plan as popular ". It would generate the component, let you preview/customize it, and then copy the code into your project. I'm also thinking about using it to modify existing components. For example: > Make this a two-column layout and add a hover animation. > Reduce the spacing between these sections and make the heading larger. I'm considering voice input as one way of giving these instructions, but text would obviously be available too. I'd love to know what frontend developers think Would something like this actually save you time? Would you use voice for this, or would you just type? What kind of output would you want? React/Tailwind, HTML/CSS, Vue, etc.? Would you trust AI-generated components enough to use them in a real project? What's the most repetitive part of building UI for you right now? Are you already using any tools that do something similar? I'm still at the idea stage and haven't built anything yet.
