Lumen is a free media center for Windows, Android and Android TV, MacOS & IOS. It uses the open addon protocol (so addons people already use can work), ships no content sources of its own (Cinemeta metadata + OpenSubtitles only), and syncs library/progress with one pairing code. No account, encrypted on your devices. I built it for performance from the ground up (Rust + Flutter, custom mpv/FFmpeg -> this took most of the work and I'm really happy with the results). Self-host the sync relay for free, or use hosted sync (14-day trial, then €19 once per household). Still a beta: Windows builds are unsigned and the APK is sideload-only on phone / TV while I go through store review — your OS will complain. Similar for IOS / MacOS.
