Built this because I was paying a few hundred bucks / month for outbound tools (Apollo, Instantly, Smartlead) that were giving me garbage results on purchased lists, so i figured i could do better by using a signal that actually indicates someone needs what I sell right now:) The signal : 1-2 star Trustpilot reviews. Timestamped, attributed to a company, written in the customer's own words describing the exact pain my service fixes. Stack: Node.js, Puppeteer for scraping public review pages, Gemini 2.5 Flash for email generation, Gmail OAuth for drafts. Three email variants per lead (Direct Value, Curiosity Gap, Peer Comparison), each citing the actual review quote. Everything stages as Gmail drafts, nothing sends without human approval. Ran 100 emails: 15 replies (15%), 2 deals closed
