Original Summary

Everyone's talking about marketing on Reddit, but every community is so strict when it comes to dropping links or even mentioning your product in the comments. Even if its 90% value and 10% promotion, they don't let it slide. It probably works better if you're selling to founders, since you can post in a lot of tech/startup communities and they're generally more open to it. But if you're building a consumer product, what can you actually do to get your initial users? I'm already planning to start posting content on TikTok and Instagram, and I'm also thinking about reaching out to small creators in my niche to get feedback on the product. For those who have gotten their first users organically, what actually worked for you? And are there any other organic marketing channels you'd recommend? Do you have any workflow for creating content that you can suggest? submitted by /u/Due-Employment3446 [link] [comments]
