Spark is free right now, no ads, no paid tier. It started that way because I did not want to charge for something before it was good enough, and it still feels early. But staying free forever is not really a strategy, it is more me putting off a decision I do not know the answer to. I have no idea if I would ever charge for it, how I would do it, or whether it would kill the handful of people who use it now.
