Original Summary
I recently found from my personal use and external testers that my app had lost its meaning and ‘simplicity’ through constant additions. My app was meant to solve a problem I had faced in a simple way, and it did. Then after about 5 months I realised all the micro changes I had made to improve the product, had actually made the core product worse. So, I’m currently working on reverting back to ensuring my app solves nuts intended needs without lots of irrelevant additions. I have also seen many posts around this idea that simplicity often wins and it’s easy to lose your product in the mist of constant changes. Interested to hear others take on this and how they maintain their apps core purpose without getting carried away? submitted by /u/Axace_Dev [link] [comments]
