I built a prompt enhancer because most of them make every prompt unnecessarily complicated So I built Keen to do the opposite. Instead of automatically forcing every prompt into a fixed structure, it first looks at what you’re asking, how well your prompt is already written, and where you’re sending it (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, etc.). A few things I specifically wanted: Already-good prompts should stay simple instead of getting rewritten into a monster. Creative prompts shouldn’t suddenly become a corporate checklist. It shouldn’t quietly invent details you never gave. Assumptions are marked with [VERIFY: ...] . The enhanced prompt should be different depending on the task and the AI you're using. It runs a quality check on the result before giving it back. For example, instead of turning: help me negotiate my salary into generic "You are an expert..." fluff, it tries to turn it into something actually useful: what you should prepare, what to say, how to handle objections, what your boundaries are, etc., while clearly marking anything it had to assume. You just click Enhance in the AI chat you're already using, review the result, and send it yourself. Nothing gets auto-submitted. I built it mainly because I was tired of spending 3–4 follow-ups fixing a mediocre first response. It’s called Keen — every prompt, sharper and it’s on the Chrome Web Store. I’m not claiming it's perfect, I'd actually like to know where it fails. Try it once on a prompt you normally use and tell me whether the rewrite was actually better or just more verbose.
