My family and friends camp together a lot and every trip ends the same way. Four torches, no gas so I built a shared packing list. One link, everyone adds what they're bringing and it tells you when two people have claimed the same thing. It also does the bit I actually needed, which is packing for the kids. You add someone, tick that you'll pack for them, and they get their own list without needing to join.
