I built Reel because I needed demo clips of my own apps and kept ending up with three tools and a re-record. What it does: screen recording on iPhone, iPad and Mac, optional camera in a movable picture-in-picture, mic and app audio on separate levels, MP4 out. Free with ads, nothing to buy to try it. They ask whether it can produce the onboarding clip or the App Store preview. The thing I thought was the feature isn't the thing people reach for, which is worth knowing before you build your own. What I'm after here is the first friction you hit: where the PiP ends up sitting, whether the audio levels behave the way you expect, how the export feels, and whether the ads get in the way of a real workflow.
