Been lurking on this sub for a while, finally have something worth posting. Backstory: hated how many taps it took to log a shared expense in every app I tried, so I built Setto. The two things I actually think are different from Splitwise/others: You can just type or say "dinner 40 with Sam" and it parses the amount, category, and who's involved - no dropdowns. Also does receipt scanning fully on-device, so it's not sending your receipt photos to some server to read the merchant/amount. Debt simplification works across groups, not just within one. If you owe someone in a trip group and they owe you in a roommates group, it nets that out instead of pretending they're unrelated. Also has an Apple Watch/Google WearOS app if you're the type who wants to log a coffee split without pulling your phone out, and it works offline if you're somewhere with bad signal (trips, mainly) and syncs later. Not going to pretend this is a finished masterpiece. Genuinely want feedback. And anything missing that you rely on in Splitwise/other apps?
