After 5 years of building, struggling and working with customers to make the best possible solution it's finally the day to launch publicly. I've come to love the transport industry. It's still one of those often overseen industries were change is still very much possible. Yet there is also a ton of competition and software already. Everything is very closed still, very opaque and simply not that fun. That is why I decided in 2021 to start building an open data platform with all the transport tools on top of it but with an open API spec and a developer hub. That way the companies could for once actually own their data and do smart things with their processes. Yes, SaaS is being sieged upon by AI, but I think this is one of those industries who cannot rely on a guess but need actual underlying engines based on... boring math. I can highly recommend building within these old-school boring industries as they still have the space were you can become the SaaS that AI is built on top of instead of being replaced by.   submitted by   /u/Kolmans [link]   [comments]
