I created this online puzzle game where one daily real password from data breaches has to be guessed in Wordle-style. Once you solve it, you see how many accounts actually used that password (Source: Have I Been Pwned). It&#x27;s free, needs no sign-up, and takes a minute.<p>I work in digital forensics and I come across passwords every day, and the patterns are always the same ones. Daily Crack started above all as a small awareness campaign on this topic. You might find your own password and discover it&#x27;s used by hundreds of thousands of other people. Or realise that six attempts are enough to guess a complete stranger&#x27;s password, because it follows the same pattern as yours.<p>I’d love feedback on difficulty: are six attempts too many?
