Original Summary

I have a soft spot for sticky notes. I come from a design background, and a wall covered in ideas is still one of my favorite ways to think. You can write something down before you really know where it belongs. Move it next to another thought, make a little group, pull one out again. Sometimes that’s how I figure out what I’m trying to say. A brainstorming board gives ideas room to develop without asking me to organize everything first. My problem was very literal: the notes kept falling down. They’d lose their stickiness over time, and the board would slowly lose pieces. It’s a small annoyance, but it got me thinking about how much I liked that interface. I wanted to keep the feeling of a sticky-note board and have it with me when a thought came along. So I made Watermelist for iPhone and iPad. I liked sticky notes enough that I wanted AI to put my thoughts into that form too. You can speak a messy mix of things you need to do and ideas you want to keep. AI can separate the actions into task cards and keep the ideas as notes on the same board. You can type or add things manually too. That distinction matters to me. In a brainstorm, some notes are things to do. Others are questions, possibilities, or something you haven’t worked out yet. I wanted them to be able to sit together. There’s still something about moving real paper around that I love. This is my attempt to carry a little of that way of thinking onto a screen, with fewer notes ending up on the floor. It has paid subscriptions and metered cloud AI. Access and offers vary by the in-app paywall; some users must subscribe before continuing. Cloud AI needs internet access and may process the text you provide.
