Original Summary

I've been building Merely Tones , a photography project built around a simple idea: looking more closely at our photographs and exploring what we might have missed. One of the tools I've developed is an Image Critique tool. You upload a photograph, and it offers another perspective on things like composition, light, visual balance, and the elements that draw your attention. The goal isn't to have a tool tell you whether your photograph is good or bad. It's to give you something interesting to consider and let you decide what you think. I'm a photographer myself, and I've been building this with the hope that it can help photographers explore their work in new ways. I'm at the stage where I'd really like people outside my own circle to try it. If you're interested, I'd love for you to upload one of your own photographs and tell me honestly what you think. Was the feedback useful? Did it notice anything interesting? Did it feel generic? What would you change? I'm still developing the project, so constructive criticism is very welcome. Try it here: merelytones.com/tools Thanks to anyone willing to give it a go! submitted by /u/zman2596 [link] [comments]
