Original Summary
Hey everyone. I'm a high school student in Florida and I've been building something called Happy Plant. It's a small sensor that sits in a plant's pot and checks sunlight, temperature and soil moisture. The app turns all of that into a simple face so you can tell at a glance if your plant is happy or needs something. I have a working prototype with the board, the backend and a live app all running. Now I'm trying to figure out if people would actually pay for it before I go further. I put up a waitlist to test demand here: https://happyplant.shop I'd love to hear from people who have done this before. Is a waitlist a good way to test demand or should I be doing something else? What would you charge for something like this? And does anything look off on the site? submitted by /u/Western_Knee_8501 [link] [comments]
