Original Summary
I'm a planning engineer, and for the past months I've been building the tool I always wanted for reviewing programmes. 4D Sequencer is now on the Microsoft Store. Open an IFC model and your Primavera P6 schedule, and it links them automatically. Press play and watch the project being built day by day, with the Gantt chart moving in. What it does for planners: ▪ Finds impossible sequences from the model: columns before the slab under them, doors before the wall around them ▪ Runs 12 standard baseline quality checks and exports one review comment per finding to Excel ▪ Shows delays on the model: baseline against actual ▪ Compares two revisions: what slipped, what was added, which links changed ▪ Creates PowerPoint, Excel, web reports and videos in one click Works with Primavera P6 (XER and XML), Microsoft Project, Excel and CSV. Your files stay on your computer: no account, no upload. Also Just launched the first big update today : - Open more 3D model types: FBX, OBJ, glTF, STL and zipped IFC, on top of IFC - A Revit guide inside the app: 6 steps to export your model the right way - Easier linking: the app asks you a few questions, shows what still needs you, and colours every element in 3D: linked, guessed, or not linked - "Why linked?" on every element, so you always know where a link came from - Export the link table to Excel, fix it there, and import it back - A new 14-step tutorial on a sample project, plus a 6-minute video inside the app that works offline In the first two days after launch, people in 10 countries installed it. Thank you, and keep the feedback coming. This update came straight from it.
