Most business software (accounting, inventory, work orders, sales) only gives you reports as a PDF. So every week someone copies it into Excel by hand. They delete the headers repeated on every page, strip out the page subtotals, fix the notes that wrapped onto a second line, and rebuild the same summary they built last week.
