Original Summary
Two months ago I’d never written a line of code. Since then I’ve built Forecast with Claude Code, and I’m looking for beta testers. As a college senior, my life got busy to the point where I was overwhelmed and started losing track of how I was spending my time. What it does: Most planners only record what you did. Forecast learns from the gap between what you planned and what actually happened, and uses it to predict your day. Morning check-in (~20 sec): sleep, stress, mood. You get a forecast for today (“71% of your plan will get done”) and a short briefing. Check off blocks as Done or Missed during the day. Patterns: after a few weeks it spots things like “Gym holds up before 9pm, not after,” with a one-tap suggested fix (move it to 6:30p). Risk Assessment: warns you when your sleep, stress and missed recovery days start to look like a burnout run-up. (My favorite feature.) No streaks, because one bad day shouldn’t wipe out your progress. Tell me what confuses you, what breaks, and what you’d never use. There’s a Feedback button in the app. First impressions would mean a lot. If the first 5 minutes make no sense, I want to know. Ideally use it for 1–2 weeks, if you can. The forecast and patterns get sharper the more days it has. Details: Free to try: go to forecastapp.app and sign up with your email! On iPhone, add it to your Home Screen (Safari → Share → Add to Home Screen) and it opens like a normal app with reminders. Your data is yours. You can export it or delete your account from inside the app. Honestly, if you don’t care about the data part, you can also just use it as a normal planner. Happy to answer questions about building this way as a total beginner. I really appreciate anyone who tries it 🙏 submitted by /u/mrfashionwatch [link] [comments]
