Original Summary
Claude Code reloads all your memory files on every turn, and most of it is old notes and details from tasks that are already done. You pay for all of it, every turn, for the whole session. We built MinniMemoryMCP to fix that. It keeps your rules and must-know context always loaded, and Claude gets the rest only when a task actually needs it. Across our measured runs, and on our own day-to-day workflows, whole sessions cost about 20–30% less. It never touches your code. It only works on your memory files (CLAUDE.md, MEMORY.md), and it runs entirely on your machine with no network calls and no AI inside it. Nothing gets summarized or deleted; every line is kept as is. You see a diff first, it keeps backups, and undo is one step. Free: npx -y minnimemory install ( npm · minniai.com ). Claude Code only for now. We're still testing this, so we'd love to hear what your session costs look like before and after. submitted by /u/MinniLabs [link] [comments]
