Original Summary
I’ve spent more than 20 years in technology sales, where understanding a customer’s organization is a big part of the job. Org charts come up constantly in QBRs, account planning, deal strategy, and conversations about who we know—and who we still need to meet in my accounts. The problem? That information gets scattered across slides, spreadsheets, notes, and LinkedIn. Plus - it’s your work effort and your knowledge - why put that into a leave behind? I wanted a straightforward way to build and maintain company org charts, switch between accounts, and present them directly from the browser. Something useful during a working session and polished enough to put on screen during a QBR. Many of the tools were too complicated and designed to do more than just org charts - I wanted something that would work across mobile and web - specifically designed for org navigation and creation. So I started building LiveOrg.ai , to turn a problem from my day job into a product. The result is a dedicated place to create and organize customer org charts, helping make reporting relationships and gaps in account coverage easier to see. The broader vision is to bring organizational structure, company intelligence, and leadership changes together so account planning becomes an ongoing process. Full disclosure: I’m the person building it. It grew out of something I needed for my own work, and I’d love feedback from other people who manage complex accounts. You can check it out here: liveorg.ai How are you managing customer org charts today—and what’s the most frustrating part? submitted by /u/Psychological_Fun509 [link] [comments]
