Original Summary
Every week I do Huberman's Foundational Fitness split: three lifting days, three cardio days (long, medium, brief) and one rest day. Every app I tried wanted me to build the program myself, sign up, or pay, so I built two that do just this. PlateClimb (lifting): ships one program, the 12-week Foundational Fitness plan, with every set prescribed (reps, RPE, rest, starting weight). Fast set logging that pre-fills last session's weights. Rest timer, warm-up ramps, kg or lb with plate-sized steps. Two swaps per exercise, photos, and a link to a free form video. https://github.com/likwiid/plateclimb BaseMile (cardio): a heart rate coach with a Bluetooth strap that talks you through Zone 2 long runs, medium runs and intervals. GPS run tracking, and the run track still draws with no signal. https://github.com/likwiid/basemile Both are free and open source (GPL), and everything stays on your phone. Android APKs are on each repo's releases page. What would make you actually use something like this: a Play Store listing, an Apple Watch, something else? submitted by /u/Gabi0123 [link] [comments]
