Original Summary
I've managed projects for years. The worst night of every month was the one before the steering committee: dates in the schedule, risks in a spreadsheet, the budget in a finance file, last month's deck somewhere in email. I rebuilt the deck from that pile every single time, and something was always out of date. So I built Senshin. The plan, risks, issues, budget and stakeholders sit in one record. Change a number and the weekly report and steering committee deck change with it. A page called Control Tower lists what needs you today, this week and this month. Live link, with two sample projects you can click through without signing up: https://senshin.io/?utm_source=reddit&utm_medium=sideproject&utm_campaign=start1017 The honest bits: it's for PMs and program leads running a handful of projects, not big teams on MS Project Server. It's paid (£49.99 a seat a month in the UK, $59 in the US) with a 14-day trial and no card. What I'd really like to know: is it obvious within 10 seconds what it does? And what would stop you trying it? submitted by /u/PeopleFirstPM [link] [comments]
