Original Summary
I build small native Apple apps on my own, from Bratislava. journeybot started as a packing list that knows where you're going and when, and builds the list from that. The most common request was trips with more than one place. That turned out to be the hard part of 2.0. A journey is now a route of stops, each with its own nights, weather, currency and local time. Stops share their travel day, so the dates have to keep fitting together when you change a stop or the trip dates. And the packing list has to plan for the coldest and the hottest stop at once instead of averaging them. Around that, 2.0 adds your own bags (so the camera sling is a real bag with a photo), a packing mode that shows one item at a time, Apple Watch, tipping customs per country, and a Home Screen widget that counts down to your trip. It's on TestFlight now: beta.journeybot.app/reddit-sideproject . Invites go out by email, Premium is free while you test, and it needs iOS 26 minimum. The fully native Mac version is next, with a connector so assistants like Claude can look at your trips and tweak them. I'd really value feedback on the multi-stop setup in particular. submitted by /u/TravelCodeRepeat [link] [comments]
