Original Summary
I shared an early version of LiveShift here about six months ago. I’m its developer, and I’ve kept working on the app since then. It’s an iPhone app for keeping your work schedule, hours, breaks, and estimated earnings together. One product decision I’d like feedback on is how it handles two different ways of keeping records: • Track a shift as it happens, with a timer and Live Activity. • Add shifts to the calendar and see their hours and estimated earnings in Statistics without running a timer. The current release also includes repeating shift patterns and days off, reusable shift templates, and automatic scheduled start and end without a subscription. There’s free access and optional Premium for features including detailed statistics, custom overtime settings, and PDF/CSV export. App Store: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/liveshift/id6762513634 If you keep your own work records, which approach would you choose, and what would make you stop using it? I’m especially interested in whether having both workflows makes the app more useful or more confusing. submitted by /u/kostkovalenko2 [link] [comments]
