I got tired of Reddit's narrow feed on a wide monitor, so I built an extension to make it resizable

Original Summary
What it is: Reddit Flex, a free Chrome extension for the Reddit desktop site. Drag the rails to make the feed any width, drag a corner to stretch videos and photos past the column, pop videos into a floating player, and read comments inline without leaving the feed. Why I built it: I use Reddit on a wide screen and the feed is a ~700 px strip with tiny media. Every "fix" I found was a fixed-width CSS tweak, and I wanted something I could just drag. What was hard: - Reddit's markup is web components and shadow DOM, and it changes often, so the extension can't lean on a single class name - Making stretched and floating videos survive Reddit's infinite scroll and page changes without losing their place - Loading comments inline while staying well inside Reddit's request limits To keep it from breaking quietly, I built a mock Reddit page and a set of automated test suites that run on every pull request.
