Original Summary
I'm a recent graduate and got tired of finding jobs, over 3000 applications multiple interviews so I decided to build InterviewSoul and I launched tit yesterday. What it does: it listens to a Zoom, Google Meet or Teams call, transcribes both sides on your own computer, and shows a short answer you can say out loud about a second after a question ends. Answers are written from the résumé and job description you give it, so it doesn't invent experience you don't have. For coding rounds it shows the approach, the code and the complexity. Some decisions I made that I'd like feedback on: - Transcription runs locally (NVIDIA's Parakeet model). Your audio never leaves your machine; only the text goes to the server to write the answer. The cost is a 670 MB download on first run. - Priced by hours used. $15 a month for 5 hours or $30 for 10 hours, so $3 an hour. The tools I compared against charge $299 a month (Interview Coder) or $11.80 to $38 an hour (Parakeet AI credits), from their own pricing pages. - The first 30 minutes are free with no card. Mac and Windows: https://interviewsoul.tech/?utm_source=reddit&utm_campaign=sideproject If you try it, I'd like to hear what broke or confused you. One request: check your interview's rules before using it in a real one. Plenty of interviews don't allow outside help. submitted by /u/ShGhimire [link] [comments]
