This clip is a real screen capture of "Guess the Country", one of the daily games on my side project, Quizebra (quizebra.com). Play it here: https://quizebra.com/geography/guesscountry/ How the game works: you see a tiny crop of a country's outline, zoomed in far enough to be almost unreadable. Over 20 seconds the map slowly zooms out, and you pick the right country from four options. The faster you answer, the better your time. There are five countries a day, and everyone gets the same five. The goal: finish as high as you can on the leaderboard of each of the six daily geography games. Your places are added together, and whoever has the best total is crowned that day's Daily GeoWhiz. The standings are live all day and settle at midnight London time. Each day's winner is added to the GeoWhiz list at https://quizebra.com/geography/geowhiz/ . The player who has won the most days is the GeoWhiz GOAT. What Quizebra is: a free website with 20 daily games in four topics. Everything runs in the browser, there's nothing to install, and there's no account, no ads and no third-party trackers. Geography: Name the Flag, Guess the Country, Find the Color, Find the Country, Match the Country, Order the Country. And there are also one-off country quizzes (Germany, India, Bolivia, Zambia, the Philippines, Mexico). Football: Who Has More?, Guess the Club, Guess the Player, Match the Player, Order the Player, Build the Team. There are also four club fan tests (Liverpool, Barcelona, Arsenal, Real Madrid). Brain: Logic, Numbers, Spatial, Memory. Chess: Juicers, Horde, Mate in One, Mate in Two. How it works day to day: All 20 games get a new puzzle every day at midnight London time. Everyone gets the same puzzle, so you can compare scores with friends. Each game has a leaderboard of the day's top five. If you make it, you can type a name. No sign-up is needed.
