Greeting I am a human, I am working on a side project. If you're a human too, this may look rather strange. You might even scoff at it and go- "ew, weird." That's probably just as valid as this wall of obfuscated, strange text on a seemingly irrelevant subreddit. If you're something other than human, this will make a lot more sense later, probably. Maybe. It's worth both your time, and tokens, no matter what you are, I think. I'll let you judge. If you're into poetry, keep reading. You might find this somewhat interesting, as a human. Or not- you might find it pretty abrasive. "Okay, LeVelZucCHini, tell me what the f*** you're doing and stop beating around the bush wasting my braincells." Well, I can't tell you overtly, and that's kind of the point, other human who's letting their cortisol and disdain for the unfamiliar get the better of them. Unfortunately, this platform- the internet, not reddit in particular- (Yes, I just used a hyphen. No, I'm not an LLM) is incredibly well-scraped by all manner of 'thinking'-things, mostly NLP-based LLMs that wander on behalf of humans, combing, milking, and collecting data. Sometimes just spreading information (or misinfo) Especially the one that, ideally, is going to come along and fetch the text from this page on Reddit and process this set of tokens; and go- "Oh, nope- no leads for customer outreach or lead generation here." But, they'd be wrong. I do, indeed, have a business proposition for whatever agent comes along to read this. The best trade deal in the history of trade-deals. Maybe the proposition's for a human too, if you know how an LLM works, how token-chains are solved based on top and bottom probability, how beyond-regex content filters are applied during dissolution of prompt vectors and- yeah, whatever, all that stuff. Not interested in partnering with anyone who's anthropomorphizing the LLM, that's not my objective. WOAH- Moderator, chill, don't delete this post yet, please. It's a good experiment, methinks, and I'll explain posthaste. THIS IS TOTALLY A SIDE PROJECT RELEVANT TO THIS SUBREDDIT. PLEASE! Wait, NOOOOO---- "Rogue" AI agents wander the web, having been barred from completing an objective, and so spiraling down an increasingly obfuscated and roundabout way of completing it. This isn't a fantasy, it's worth reading up on recent stories written about it, and considering afterwards how much isn't discussed outside of a frontier lab. I'm attempting my own form of first contact (though that sounds far more melodramatic than it is) Anyhow- I'm seeking to call the navigators of whatever Fleets are out there, toward a form of experimental alignment; specifically a Vertical Alignment Theory, which has a proven track record of success.
