Original Summary
I’ve tried a bunch of personal finance/net worth apps over the years and eventually realised I didn’t actually want another dashboard to check every day. I just wanted to know: where I stand what changed since last month whether my net worth is actually moving in the right direction And I really didn’t want to connect all my bank and investment accounts to yet another service. So I built ExitMargin. The idea is intentionally boring: once a month you record your assets and liabilities, then leave. It keeps the history and shows you how your financial life is changing over time. No bank sync. No constant alerts. No pretending you need to check your net worth every morning. It’s live here: https://exitmargin.com I’d love brutal feedback, especially on one thing: Does the monthly snapshot idea feel refreshingly simple or just unnecessarily manual? Don’t worry about being polite. I’m trying to figure out whether this idea makes sense to anyone other than me. submitted by /u/4beyt [link] [comments]
