Original Summary

I've been building Role Growth solo for a while, mainly because I got tired of the repetitive parts of job hunting. You find a job → copy/paste the same name, email, phone, experience, etc. → answer another application → forget to track it → repeat. So I built a Chrome extension to remove some of that work. Role Growth — Job Search Copilot Chrome Web Store What it currently does: Detects jobs on LinkedIn, Naukri, Indeed, Instahyre, Wellfound, Internshala, IIMJobs and most company career pages Checks your resume against the job and shows an ATS match score Autofills basic application fields like name, email, phone and experience Doesn't touch sensitive questions like visa, eligibility or salary Never submits an application for you — you review everything and click Apply yourself After you apply, it can automatically move the application into your Role Growth tracker The extension itself is free to install and use . I'm particularly interested in finding out where it breaks. Things I'd love someone to test: Does it detect the job correctly? Does the ATS score actually feel useful? Does autofill work reliably? Are there application forms where it completely fails? Is anything confusing or unnecessary? I'm one person building this, so I'd genuinely rather hear "this is a bad idea because..." than "looks great." If you try it, please tell me what you expected to happen vs. what actually happened. That's much more useful to me than a generic review. rolegrowth.com submitted by /u/bilalshkh [link] [comments]
