Original Summary
Hey everyone, I'm looking for another technical builder who might be interested in working with me on Plenty , a global e-commerce marketplace I'm currently developing. This is not just an idea or a Figma mockup. I'm a developer myself and have already built a working foundation. Plenty currently has things like: Next.js + TypeScript Supabase / PostgreSQL backend Authentication and user accounts Product search and filtering Shopping cart and wishlist Product pages and reviews Order creation and history Seller applications Product origin and manufacturing transparency International destination support Database security with RLS An early admin system The bigger idea behind Plenty is to create a marketplace where people can discover products from around the world while having much clearer information about who they're buying from, where products are manufactured, where the company is based, and where the product actually ships from. I'm currently building seller dashboards, admin moderation, inventory management, product variants, origin verification, and the other systems needed to turn it into a real multi-seller platform. Who I'm looking for Ideally another full-stack or backend-focused developer who likes actually building things and wants to take ownership of parts of a larger project. One thing that is especially important to me is AI-native development . I use tools like Claude Code and Codex heavily. I'm looking for someone who already uses, or wants to seriously use, tools like: Claude Code OpenAI Codex Cursor similar coding agents The idea is not for one person to give the other person prompts. I'd like us both running our own development workflows, working on separate systems in parallel, using Git branches and pull requests, reviewing each other's work, and moving much faster than either of us could individually. I'm particularly interested in someone comfortable with some combination of: backend architecture PostgreSQL Supabase Next.js TypeScript authentication / authorization database security APIs marketplaces e-commerce search infrastructure You absolutely do not need to know all of those. What I'm not looking for I'm not looking for someone to build my idea for me. I'm already actively developing it. I'm also not looking to hand somebody a list of tickets and treat them like a free employee. I'd like to find somebody who wants to make technical and product decisions with me and potentially grow into a genuine long-term partner if we work well together. The project is still early, so this is not a salaried engineering position right now. I would rather be upfront about that immediately. I'd prefer to start by building together on a small part of Plenty and see how well we work together before making any big commitments. Remote is completely fine. I'm in the United States, but I'm open to working with someone anywhere if our schedules overlap enough to communicate
