Original Summary

Wanted to share something I've been working on. It's called Bonded , and the idea started from a pretty basic observation: We have a ridiculous number of ways to communicate, but that doesn't necessarily mean we're having better conversations. So instead of building another social network, we made a conversation game. Here's how it works: Pick a deck depending on who you're with. Partner, date, friends, family, etc. Invite them with a link, QR code, or short code. Both of you see the same question at the same time. Talk about it. Or pass. Nobody has to answer anything they don't want to. Only the host needs the app. Everyone else can join through a browser for free. I also skipped profile photos in favor of customizable avatars. The app has a free Starter tier, plus optional paid features for additional decks and longer sessions. It's available on iPhone in a few countries right now, and I also released a closed alpha testing group for Android . One thing I'm still curious about is how people feel about using their phones for something that's meant to happen away from the screen. Does this sound like something you'd actually use, or is it too much structure for a normal conversation? submitted by /u/Jaded_Broccoli1667 [link] [comments]
