Original Summary

I’ve been working on LexiMap, a free browser site that maps answers to everyday questions by U.S. state and county. The soda/pop map is here: https://www.leximap.fyi/q/soda-pop-coke?utm_source=reddit&utm_medium=organic&utm_campaign=sideproject_words_20261016 Other questions cover shopping cart vs. buggy, sub vs. hoagie, and fireflies vs. lightning bugs. You can explore the results without an account. To add a response, choose an answer and use a U.S. ZIP code or browser location. These are voluntary, self-selected responses, not a representative survey or a definitive map of dialect boundaries. I’d like feedback on whether it’s easy to compare your area with the rest of the country. OpenAI Codex helped create parts of the site. submitted by /u/LowerMusic [link] [comments]
