Every link shortener I tried either wanted me to sign up, pushed a paid plan, buried the button under ads, or looked like it was built in 2009. I couldn’t find one that just worked and looked nice, so I built it myself. https://u1.lol Paste a link and it’s instantly shortened and copied. That’s it. On phones there’s a Paste button, so it’s one tap. No account, no ads, no tracking. Completely free, no catch. Short links. Codes are as short as possible, often a single character (like u1.lol/K ). Custom endings , e.g. u1.lol/music , with a live “available / taken” check as you type. Preview any link by adding + to the end ( u1.lol/K+ ), so you can see where it goes before you click. Strips tracking junk ( utm_ , fbclid , etc.) from links automatically. Checks every link against Google Safe Browsing , so it can’t be used for malware or phishing. Your recent links are saved in your browser (not on a server), with export/import. 12 color themes, and the whole page is under 10 KB, so it loads instantly even on bad signal. It runs on Cloudflare.
