Original Summary
Hey makers — I'm Harri, solo founder of Dram (Fragrance Diary) on iOS. Sharing a short build story and hoping for blunt feedback. The problem I kept hitting: I owned way more bottles than I actually wore. Tom Ford Oud Wood, Maison Margiela Replica By the Fireplace, Dior Sauvage — they'd sit on the shelf while I rotated the same 3–4 sprays without noticing. Notes apps and camera roll screenshots didn't help; I never looked back at them. What I built: • a shelf of the bottles I own • a wear log (what I sprayed, when) • Today's Pick for the morning decision • a simple view of own-vs-wear so the "dead stock" is obvious Free tier is up to 5 bottles. It does not measure longevity or invent performance scores — I deliberately kept it as a diary, not a lab tool. What I'm unsure about (honest ask): Is "own vs wear" clear enough as the core hook, or does it sound too niche outside fragrance people? For a diary app, would you rather see more social (friends' shelves) earlier, or stay personal/private first? Anything in the free→paid framing that feels off for a side-project audience? App Store (iOS): https://apps.apple.com/us/app/dram-fragrance-diary/id6767010649 Happy to answer build / design / positioning questions. Roast freely. submitted by /u/gardengnome80 [link] [comments]
