Original Summary

Hey everyone! I've been learning more about electronics recently, and I wanted a place where I could experiment with circuits directly in my browser. So I started building resistor.dev , a free online electronics circuit simulator. The idea was to make something approachable for beginners while still offering more advanced simulation tools. Here's what I've implemented so far: Visual circuit editor with drag-and-drop components Two simulation engines: a fast educational JavaScript engine and ngspice running in WebAssembly 4-channel oscilloscope Voltage, current, and power measurements Component heating and damage simulation Parameter Sweep and Monte Carlo analysis Example circuits for learning and experimenting The project is still in development, and I'm continuously improving the simulation accuracy and user experience. I'm building this as a personal project, and I'd love to get feedback from people who work with electronics or enjoy experimenting with circuits. Live demo: https://resistor.dev/ If you have a few minutes to try it, I'd especially appreciate feedback on the simulation accuracy and usability. What would you improve or add? Thanks! submitted by /u/Serjik85 [link] [comments]
