Original Summary
My side project is DealBoard, an iPhone and Android app for automotive salespeople to track their deals and estimate their pay. I'm the developer. The interesting part of this niche is that counting cars isn't enough: a split deal can mean half a unit, minis differ from percentage commission, and reaching a tier can change the month's payout. I built the app around a configurable pay plan rather than a single fixed commission percentage. The released app supports sold/pre-sold, new/used and split deals, commission tiers, minis and volume bonuses, earnings breakdowns, monthly history and projections. Records sync across devices. It isn't official payroll; estimates depend on the data and pay plan entered. I'd love feedback from other makers on the onboarding and whether the value is clear to someone outside the car business. If you're actually in automotive sales, what pay-plan case would you try first? Website with both store links: https://brewedapps.com/dealboard/ It's a paid subscription product with monthly and annual plans and requires an account. Prices and any eligible trial are disclosed before purchase. submitted by /u/No_Manager8348 [link] [comments]
