Every time I ship a new side project, the same boring week follows: find directories that aren't dead, write the tagline/short/long description again, fill 40 slightly different forms, verify emails, and then forget which ones I already did. I already use coding agents for basically everything else, so I tried handing this part to them too. The agent itself wasn't the problem. The problem was that it had no context: no list of which directories are worth it, no idea what each form wants, no memory of what it submitted last session. So I built that context as a plain repo: A catalog of 270 directories. 99% of them have reviewed step-by-step playbooks. The others are marked as unverified research candidates, so the agent checks them live instead of assuming they're free or still work. A product workspace. You write your copy, pricing and media once, and the agent maps them to each platform's fields. A tracker with evidence. "Submitted", "in review", "scheduled" and "live" are kept separate, so a confirmation email doesn't get counted as a listing. Resume prompts, so the next session picks up where the last one stopped and doesn't create duplicates. I tested it on my own product (SeoMap). Honest results so far: Live on Findly, Twelve Tools, approved on G2 and 16 more platforms after 20h TinyLaunch approved, but scheduled for October One rejected (Stork AI said the site wasn't a fit) Around 100ish waiting for approval from the sites So it's not magic. Directories still decide what they list. What changed for me is that I no longer do the typing, tab juggling and bookkeeping myself.
