Original Summary
Freelancer here. Clients pay late, Upwork pays in dollars, subscribers pay on Stripe, and every budgeting app I tried assumed a monthly salary. So I built Freeboard for myself and I’ve been using it daily. The main number: what you can spend today without going below zero in the next 12 months, counting only certain income. Right next to it, what’s in your accounts today and what you’ll have in 6 months. The month is a map of “water lines” (income in, spending out), and each line shows how sure it is: certain, counts half, uncertain. It reads European banks, works in euros across currencies, recognises Stripe, Upwork and Fiverr payouts, and you can connect Claude or ChatGPT: the assistant asks before changing anything, and every change can be undone. Live demo with sample data, no sign-up: https://freeboard.money/try?utm_source=reddit&utm_medium=community&utm_campaign=sideproject I’m trying to find out if this is useful beyond me. If your income is irregular: what would you need to see first? The first 100 people on the waiting list get a year free. submitted by /u/IntelligentEye3269 [link] [comments]
