Original Summary
I dropped into this subreddit and was struck by all the sensationalist headlines like "I built yet another thing..." Let’s be real: nobody is actually "coding" an MVP in 2026. So, I decided to go with an honest title. That’s not to say I don’t understand what the code is doing — I’ve been programming for over 20 years, after all. Getting to the point — and staying within the realm of "vibecoding" — I’ve built an engine that lets you create chat-based games of varying complexity - Tamactator ( https://tamactator.com ). You don’t even have to write any code. All it takes is a bit of "vibetexting" with your favorite AI assistant, plus my Markdown file. I’ve put together a few fun(?) games: Tamacta – a nod to the 80s game Dictator . A game that tests your multiplication skills (my son gave it a thumbs up). A silly, luck-based game. A biographical game about Steve Jobs . Is it worth developing this project further? Because from here on out, I’d have to start writing "real" code — just like I’m writing this text right now. Looking forward to your thoughts in the comments. submitted by /u/Dizzy_Cockroach8810 [link] [comments]
