Original Summary

Hey everyone, I'm working on this Chrome extension called Parcel, for saving useful conversations with a particular AI somewhere you can actually find them again. If you're using multiple AIs, you know how it works: the code you need is in one chat while the explanation of how it works is in another, and sometimes it's hard to remember exactly where you put that one conversation that had the answer you needed. Here's what Parcel can do for you: Export the chat you're looking at as a Markdown file and save it in your notes/project folder. Save chat histories to a local library, search for the passage you need and open the saved answer directly, without having to comb through dozens of chats saved as separate files. Keep chats saved from Chat GPT, Claude and Gemini together, with indication of which AI they came from. The export to Markdown is free, meanwhile a one-time payment unlocks the library with no subscription afterwards. The chats saved to your library are local to your device, not synced between your accounts or saved to the cloud. I'm the creator of this project, and it's early days for Parcel - I want to hear what you're struggling with most so I can prioritize what features to add/remove, instead of bloatware that no one needs. I'm considering adding support for Grok, DeepSeek, Meta AI, Mistral, Kimi and GLM in the future, but you'll have to let me know how useful each one would be to you. They aren't supported right now, so please, ask before assuming. https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/parcel-%E2%80%94-ai-chat-exporter/lfcjainokckfckfndonkncekegcahghc How do you save answers right now? Bookmarks, copy-pasting into notes, or hoping that you'll remember where that one conversation that had the answer was? submitted by /u/Vinayak509143 [link] [comments]
