Original Summary

Hi everyone! I'm a solo developer, and I've been building a desktop AI companion for gamers called Tavi. Why I made it: I was tired of alt-tabbing to look up guides mid-game, and I wanted something that feels like a companion rather than a search box. What it does: - Chat about strategy, story or builds, or just talk while you play - Send a screenshot and Tavi tries to recognize the game, scene and enemies, then gives suggestions - Voice input, and spoken replies (voice output is part of the Full version) - Live web lookup, so for new releases and patches it checks instead of guessing - Full version extras: "Hey Tavi" wake word, long-term memory, and hardware temperature hints (via LibreHardwareMonitor) Free vs. Full: Free is fully usable: chat, screenshots, voice input and web lookup, with daily/monthly chat limits. The Full version (NT$180/mo, about US$5.6) unlocks the extra features above. It does not remove the chat limits. If you want no limits, you can plug in your own Anthropic API key (BYOK). The key is stored only on your PC and never sent to my server. Current status: - Windows only for now - The app and website are available in English and Traditional Chinese (Japanese and Korean are planned) Download and details: https://tavi-backend-production-9d83.up.railway.app/?lang=en I'd really love feedback, especially on: After asking Tavi, is his answer acceptable? Does the free/Full split feel fair? Anything that feels buggy or confusing? Happy to answer any questions. Or click the discussion forum link on the official website to let me know your suggestions.
