Music on speakers, a call in headphones, and separate volume controls for each app. That’s the new Mixer in SoundAnchor 1.9. I’m the developer. SoundAnchor started as a menu bar app for keeping your preferred microphones and speakers selected. The new tab lets you: • Set each app’s volume from 0% to 200% • Choose an audio output for each app • Keep those choices when apps restart • Fall back to the system output if a selected device disconnects, then switch back when it reconnects Mixer requires macOS 14.4 or later and System Audio Recording permission. Audio is processed locally without recording or uploading it. The direct version has a 30-day trial, then a €2.99 one-time license.
