Original Summary
A bit of background first. When I was younger, me and my mates used to write these mad challenge lists, you couldn't move on until you completed the current one, then i made my own list when i was in my mid 20's stuff like run a marathon, do a muscle-up, bench press your bodyweight. id tick them off one at a time and it kept me training for years. I never forgot how well that worked, so I turned it into an app. It's called Fitlist 500. The idea is simple: 500 levels, and you can only move to the next one by completing the one you're on. It starts off genuinely easy — Level 1 is literally a short walk — and slowly builds up, so anyone can start no matter how unfit they are right now. By the time you're deep into it, you're doing things you never thought you could. It's not just one type of fitness either. The levels cover cardio, strength, calisthenics, stretching, diet challenges and lifestyle habits — even the odd treat built in, because nobody sticks to anything that's all suffering. There's a leaderboard where you compete with everyone else working through the list, and a community feed where people share their progress, photos and wins as they level up. Here's the honest bit: the app is live and working, but the community is small right now — and that's actually why I'm posting. The whole thing gets better the more people are on it. More people on the leaderboard means more competition. More people posting means more motivation when you're stuck on a level. I don't just want downloads, I want the first proper group of members who help shape what this becomes. The first 30 levels are completely free, It's on Google Play and the website (fitlist500.com). So — what challenge would you put on your own list? If there's something you think should be a level, tell me and I might actually add it. submitted by /u/fitlist500-dev [link] [comments]
