Original Summary

Nobody in my house could ever say when the AC was last serviced or when the water purifier filter was due, so I made a planner for it. You pick India, the US or somewhere else, tick what you have from about 30 things (AC, water heater, smoke alarms, gutters, the car...), and say roughly when each was last done. You get the next 12 months, month by month, with a line on why each job is there. Anything you mark "not sure" gets spread over the first few months, three jobs a month at most and safety items first, so you're not doing everything in one weekend. Seasonal jobs wait for their season if it's close: AC before summer, furnace in the fall. There's no sign-up. The plan lives in the URL, so nothing is stored, and you can add it to your calendar as repeating events or print it. It's part of a bigger app I'm building for keeping a household's service records, but the planner works on its own. Next.js and Supabase, solo. Are the intervals wrong anywhere for where you live? That's the part I'm least sure about. And what's missing from the list? https://www.yourhomedocket.com/maintenance-planner?utm_source=reddit&utm_medium=post&utm_content=sideproject submitted by /u/docketbuilder [link] [comments]
