Original Summary

What is it? Raise. It’s a desktop study tracker built specifically for JEE, NEET, and Boards students(Indian based students currently) What does it do? It solves the "scattered apps" problem. 3 months ago I realized my prep was a complete mess—test scores in one app, timetable in another, syllabus in Notion, and backlogs on a random piece of paper. I was spending more time updating trackers than actually studying. So i made Raise as it puts it all in one window: a syllabus tracker (with toggles for Modules, Class Questions, and Illustrations), a mock test analyzer (it calculates your median, consistency, and momentum), and a backlog planner that looks at your coaching schedule and tells you exactly how many days it'll take to clear pending lectures based on your playback speed. It also has a wellness tracker which can be a good way to track a student loaded with heavy academic pressure's mental and physical state. Platform? Windows only right now. It’s a Tauri app, so the installer is tiny (~5MB). I built it on my laptop and don't have the bandwidth for Mac/Linux/mobile yet. Build time? Started about 3 months ago. Honestly, I spent more time debugging this thing than studying. I used AI to help write a lot of the code (no shame in admitting that), but it was days of adding, removing, and fixing bugs to get it live and still there are some things which can be fixed and improved. Work or personal? Just a personal side project. I’m a Class 11 student, so this is my "instead of studying in my precious free time, I built a tool to help me study" project. Cost? Completely free. No ads, no paywalls. Everything runs locally on your machine (localStorage), also for future if this is succesful i may bring out subcriptions plans for it but that would cover features which will be added later like ai and all which is not a big setback for any user who dont have the subcription as rest all will be for free. Link: raise.ct.ws (Yes i also dont have an domain yet as it is also not for free , and i dont have money) (Just a heads up if you download it: since I'm a broke student and can't afford a $25/month Microsoft Azure certificate, Windows SmartScreen will probably throw a warning. You just have to click "More info" -> "Run anyway". I promise it's not a virus, it's just an unsigned indie app!) \ Also if you download it please send your feedback , and make sure to mention you are here only to test the app not an student as i dont want non students to take limited seats for a in need student of it.** submitted by /u/RoyalAd7529 [link] [comments]
