Original Summary
I’m posting for Benchlight, a Winter Watermelon product. We’ve released a free route for a small service-business site: make it with the starter or in Claude, review a private draft, then publish it at yourname.benchlight.page. One free site per account, no card. If you already have a page in a Claude chat, the starting prompt is: ‘Use Benchlight to put this page online.’ Connect Benchlight from Claude’s directory, check the saved draft, choose the free address, give publishing permission, then confirm yes. Both confirmations are required before it goes live. The walkthrough is here: https://benchlight.dev/claude For a first business site, I’d start with four things: what you do, where you work, real opening hours, and one clear phone or email link. Check those on your phone before publishing. The free starter is here: https://benchlight.dev/free-website This is static website publishing, so the free site doesn’t include a shop, payments, customer logins or contact forms. It includes a small Benchlight credit, has a 10 MB supported-file limit, and stays out of search engines for its first week. A Claude subscription, if needed for your Claude access, is separate. I’d welcome feedback on the draft-to-publish steps, especially where it’s unclear what will be public. Please don’t post private drafts or customer information in the comments. submitted by /u/Any-Direction3051 [link] [comments]
