Original Summary

I’ve been building a SaaS platform called Rentiva, and I’m finally starting to see some consistent traction. Nothing crazy. No viral launch, no hundreds of customers overnight, no massive marketing budget. But we’re consistently adding about 1–3 new users every couple of days. And honestly, that’s been more exciting to me than I expected. I’ve spent countless hours building, fixing things, questioning whether certain features even mattered, and wondering if people would actually use something I created. Now I’m watching people sign up, add their properties, create leases, and actually use the platform. The interesting part is that most of these early users aren’t even paying customers. We have a free tier, so right now I’m more focused on getting people through the door, understanding what they need, and making sure the product is genuinely useful. I’m realizing that getting someone to sign up is one thing. Getting them to trust your software with part of their business is something completely different. Still a LONG way from where I want this to be, but seeing consistent growth instead of random spikes feels like a small validation that I’m building something people actually need. For those of you who’ve built SaaS products from zero: At what point did you realize you had something worth doubling down on? Was it your first paying customer, consistent signups, retention, or something else? I’m genuinely curious because I’m figuring this out as I go. submitted by /u/_L_o_s [link] [comments]
