Original Summary
Hey everyone, I’m currently a student interning over at Finvar, a Fintech company, helping out with some growth and outreach initiatives for Capnote (our AI-powered financial research platform). We've been looking closely at how independent and newer investors tackle company and market research. Usually, you're stuck manually pulling financial statements/reports, mapping industry value chains, scrambling and piecing together information across social media, or paying heavy monthly subscriptions for enterprise-grade tools that don't quite fit individual budgets. Capnote solves that problem by aggregating all relevant information to your portfolio in one place for your stress-free perusal (Company value chains, watchlists, portfolio value tracking, notifications when markets fluctuate, peer comparisons, a feed that keeps you updated on recent events that could potentially impact your investments, etc.) And recently, AI-driven features have been added to streamline this process further, although after testing it myself there is still admittedly work to be done in that area. Regard it as a work-in-progress with the AI tools (The devs are working hard on them though, don't worry.) To lower the barrier and make Capnote more accessible for those who are interested, the marketing team is experimenting with an early-bird $100 lifetime access tier instead of the usual recurring subscription model. As a nice bonus, there's also a free trial with no credit card or payment info required upfront (I hate when I have to give my credit card info for a free trial so I though I'd highlight this lol) that allows you full access to all tools on Capnote for a week. (Full disclosure: I'm a student myself, so when I first began using Capnote I admittedly didn't know what I was looking at, not having much experience in investing and all the finance jargon. But Capnote was really user-friendly and easy to navigate + get started on. It literally just took an hour of fiddling around and exploring to get a good idea of how everything works.) With all that out of the way, as someone with less investing experience, I'd love to get some candid and in-depth feedback from people who are more experienced with investing and all it's ins-and-outs; on both the pricing as well as the product itself! If you try out the free trial, does the automated workflow and aggregated market info actually save you time compared to building your own sheets? Is the hundred-dollar lifetime worth it? Are the features and tools Capnote provides you something you'd use over whatever research method you are currently using? For those of you who analyze markets independently, how do you feel about flat lifetime pricing versus traditional monthly software tiers? If anyone wants the link, here it is: https://app.capnote.com I know this post might get marked as spam or an ad (I've never posted on reddit before so I'm not sure how that works), but I do belie
