Original Summary
I’m building PeerBrush, a free GPLv3 image editing and illustration app. It’s built from the ground up around a person and a connected AI working in the same editable project through MCP. For example, you can paint on one layer while an agent adjusts another, then refine its changes yourself. I’m trying to make that interaction feel intuitive, and I’d like feedback on where it gets confusing. Ctrl+Z follows the shared chronological history. There’s also selective undo for grouped AI tasks, subject to conflict checks. Layer and region reservations are optional; conflicting edits are blocked when reservations are used. If you try it, what editing task feels awkward? Which feature would make it useful in your workflow? A short example of what you tried and expected would help. Testers and developer contributions are welcome too; it uses Rust, egui and wgpu. Current downloads are unsigned. Microsoft Store certification is pending. The Apple build/signing workflow has started, but successful signing and notarization haven’t been confirmed. External AI providers may charge separately. submitted by /u/Deftroyy [link] [comments]
